This past Saturday we had a wonderful, exciting and challenging wedding charter. After a beautiful ceremony for Timothy & Kayla DeNigris on the beach in Ocean Gate, NJ we transported the guests to the reception at the Island Heights Yacht Club with an 11 PM return. The wind was up and out of the northeast which made for an exciting boat ride with challenging conditions. Thank you to our hearty, fun loving passengers and congratulations to the bride and groom!

Beautiful weather and an amazing assortment of boats, boating accessories, marinas, and boating experts to talk to about chartering, boat maintenance, electronics, new equipment and safety gear. Has been a great experience and looking forward to getting back out on the water through end of October and our charter season.

After a busy charter week, a relaxing afternoon lunch cruise with Dick & Cheryl Harker with family visiting from New Hampshire and the Grosch family who chartered a sunset/twilight cruise with son Nicholas steering the boat for most of our trip. This Friday, Watch the Peto Cup Regatta On Slack Time!

Book a sunset cruise aboard Slack Time to watch the Barnegat Bay A-Cat Fleet compete in the annual Peto Cup Regatta on Friday, August 15th. We will depart from the Island Heights Yacht Club at 4:45 to watch the race kick off at 5:15 PM on the Toms River. Afterward, we'll take a leisurely cruise to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

We donated a sunset/twilight cruise for the “Habitat for Humanity” fundraiser at BHYC back in the fall of 2024.
The winning donation was made by Crystal Pontoriero and she invited 5 close friends to join her for a great cruise and dance party on the Toms River and Barnegat Bay this past weekend. A most Eggcellent way to end our charter season. The IHYC Family Day committee hosted by Brian Taboada enjoyed a beautiful sunset cocktail cruise this past Saturday night on the Toms River, accompanied by the world famous Egg toss trophy along with wonderful food including Kim’s famous deviled eggs. It was a beautiful evening and incredible way to end over 20 years of hosting family day.

The IHYC Family Day committee hosted by Brian Taboada enjoyed a beautiful sunset cocktail cruise this past Saturday night on the Toms River, accompanied by the world famous Egg toss trophy along with wonderful food including Kim’s famous deviled eggs. It was a beautiful evening and incredible way to end over 20 years of hosting family day.

After the party! The newlyweds sailed off into the sunset – or rather, moonlight – from IHYC to SPYC on Saturday night. Congrats to the lovebirds!
